  1. New version 1.4.12c does not run on win8.0 or win 8.1 both 32bit
    "Not compatible to Windows.Version"
But I installed successfully on win8.1-64bit in Prog(86x)-folder
Old version 1.4.10 ran without problems ...

    1. Hi, indeed newer builds of Aria require 64-bits versions of Windows. I have clarified the downloads page and offered a separate 32-bits link (which for now points to version 1.4.10)

    2. ... while after the 32bit version launch, the (black) commands window checks that there is a newer one , also the window at the bottom of the program itself says so offering the link. I thought may be i missed something, but no, the given version is actually just 64bit...ok, going back again to 32bit

  2. Is there any ability to change the selected notes to other notes?

    1. Hi, the blog is not the best way to get support. I am not sure I fully understand the question, but selected notes can be changed by dragging them with the mouse (or using the keyboard arrows)

  3. Thank you for this MIDI recorder and editor - it is very easy to use and intuitive! I've been using it for piano demos and it's working well so far :)

    1. You can use the controller editor as described at https://ariamaestosa.github.io/ariamaestosa/docs/man.html#sectionController
Select the "Tempo" controller and then you can change the playback speed

  6. I don't know how to install Aria Maestosa in Ubuntu Studio. I am a new Ubuntu user. On Windows 10 I have it installed without problems, but I can't do it on Ubuntu. Also it is not in the system repositories. You can help me?

    1. Blog comments are not an ideal way of getting support. There would be two ways:

1- Contact distributors of your distro and convince tham to include Aria in the official ubuntu repos
2- Compile it from source yourself : https://ariamaestosa.github.io/ariamaestosa/docs/building.html (this is a bit more technical)
